DESCRIPTION:Wat is Focussen precies?  En hoe breng je dat in verband met het troosten van Kinderen? \nFocussen is een techniek om te luisteren naar wat je lijf wil zeggen. Je lichaam geeft vaak signalen af over je emotionele gesteldheid en over wat je aan het doen bent. Ontspannen en je kunnen concentreren op je binnenwereld zijn noodzakelijk om je bewust te worden van deze emotionele signalen. \nWanneer je in staat bent woorden te geven aan je eigen lichamelijke signalen\, kun je meer inzicht krijgen op hetgeen bepaalde situaties met je doen.  \nIn deze workshop leer je welke signalen bij jezelf belangrijk zijn wanneer er iets gebeurt met je eigen kinderen of kleinkinderen.  Ook leer je welke woorden je kunt geven aan het verdriet van kinderen. \nLijkt het je leuk om deze workshop mee te maken?  De avond is op 1 april 2026 en kost 25.-

DESCRIPTION:The Focusing School 2025 is a four-day residential event which will take place in the Old Swinford Hospital School (https://www.oshsch.com/ in the West Midlands 20-24th August 2025. This is an opportunity to learn from well-known\, experienced teachers as well as meet the wider community and enjoy Focusing together. There will be a diverse programme of workshops on a range of themes. Participants will be invited to choose in advance one of the main teachers’ topics for the morning sessions\, and stay with this group for each morning of the event. In the afternoons there will be time for Focusing swaps\, and a variety of afternoon workshops and activities that can be chosen at the time of the event\, and even offered by participants themselves. The evenings will have space for music\, dancing\, games\, poetry and other creative contributions from attendees. As a boarding school the Old Swinford Hospital School is an ideal venue set in beautiful grounds\, and with accommodation and catering facilities for up to 140 people. Three vegetarian meals will be provided each day.
